Basics Bank needs you

The clothing Basics Bank has seen 200 more people in the first six months of this year compared to the first six months of last year.

The five Food Banks across the city have seen a 20% increase during this period – 900 more people – feeding a total of 5900 people between January and end June.
Donations of food are greatly appreciated – particularly tins of meat, veg, rice pudding, spaghetti and fruit.

Alex Hills is running the Great North Run

September coffee morning – Advance notice

Barbara and Suzanne’s Macmillan Coffee Morning and Bring & Buy will be held in the Grace Hall on Friday 20 September from 10am to 12 noon. Refreshments of tea, coffee, cake will be available in Café. Please come along to support this – everyone welcome.
