Here’s Simon with an update on our Christmas services

Sunday 12 December

Townhill Park Christmas Celebration at 4.00pm at Townhill Park Community Centre. There will be games, craft, carols, food and the Christmas story.

Friday 17 December

Church Christmas Party at 7.00pm,

[Update 10/12/21] We have been keeping a close eye on government guidance issued in the last week. Unfortunately, due to the governments rules for face masks and places of worship, along with other factors, we have decided to cancel our Christmas party. This decision hasn’t been taken lightly, and it is with sadness that we have done this. However, we look forward to when we can put on a high-quality, safe and fun church social for all of us, and look to rearrange this for when it is appropriate to do so.

If you have booked places, we will be in touch soon to refund your ticket.

Friday 24 December – Christmas Eve

Crib Service at 4.00pm. Due to rising COVID-19 cases, our crib service will be held on Zoom. Expect interactive family fun, lots of laughing, carols as well as the Christmas story! Zoom details will be sent to you when you sign up here. Only one person per household needs to sign up to get the link.

Midnight Communion at 11.30pm. Join us as we celebrate communion together in a traditional service. Communion will be distributed in a safe and socially distanced way, and be of one kind. Seats will be socially distant and we ask that you would please wear a face covering. This service will be live streamed and be available on our YouTube channel to those who would like to watch it on Christmas morning. This service is still taking place in person.

Saturday 25 December – Christmas Day

Christmas day celebration service [Update 19/12/21] Unfortunately, due to rising COVID-19 cases, this service will go ahead online. We will see in Christmas Day with midnight communion, which is still going ahead in person. There will be a morning celebration on Christmas Day taking place over Zoom at 10am, and you can sign up to get the Zoom link here.

We’ll be celebrating online with one another, wishing one another a Merry Christmas, singing carols and hearing the message of Christmas.
