Happy New Year to you all!
The cafe refurbishment is complete. The cafe will be reopening on Tuesday 14 Jan, and will be open as normal on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Looking forward to seeing you there.
Will’s last service
Will’s last service will be Sunday 26 Jan. He and Katie move to Bristol for Will to take up his new position as vicar of Redland Church. Huge thanks to both of them for their commitment and service to Ascension, and we pray for an easy move and an exciting future in Bristol.
Donate whilst you shop
Why not make it a New Year’s resolution to support our work her at Ascension without spending any more money than you would have done anyway. You can select us as your good cause and every time you spend at smile.amazon or shop at a website accessed via EasyFundraising, a small percentage of the purchase price will be paid to us. If you’re going for the smile.amazon version, use these instructions and search for our full registered charity name “The Parochial Church Council Of The Ecclesiastical Parish Of Bitterne Park, Southampton”
Are you on the electoral roll?
The deadline for joining the electoral roll is 25 Jan – if you’re a member of the church, you need to complete electoral roll form or check you’re already on it. Being on the electoral roll allows you to vote at our APCM and gives an indication of the real membership and strength of the church. So please do sign up!
Forms can be obtained from Frances Samphire or the Office and need to be submitted no later than 25 Jan 2020. The information is being stored on ChurchSuite, our database. If you’re not on ChurchSuite, you’ll need to be added, and sign on of our data processing forms in addition to the electoral roll form. Frances or the office will be able to help with this.
