We hope you’ve been enjoying the warm weather recently – whether appreciating it from the cool indoors or down at the beach! We’ve got some news we’d love to share with you, which includes changing COVID-19 guidance.
As you may be aware, government guidance is changing on Monday 19 July and many COVID-19 restrictions being removed. Our plan as a church is to allow the unlocking to take place, but do this very gradually, to help all members of our church family feel safe and comfortable attending services.
The first major changes which will take place include congregational singing, removal of the one-way system, and children and youth being part of the service to begin with, going out to their groups after the first song of worship.
Socially distant seating will remain in place, as will hand sanitiser. In line with current Government and Church of England guidance, we strongly recommend and ask you to wear a face mask while you are inside the church building.

We’ve had the incredible privilege of celebrating so much recently as a church family, from the ordinations, baptisms, to the appointment of Simon as our new vicar, and we have a lot to thank God for!
Psalm 145: 6-9 ‘They shall speak of the might of your awesome deeds and declare your greatness. They shall pour forth the fame of your abundant goodness and shall sing aloud of your righteousness. The Lord is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. The Lord is good to all, and his mercy is over all that he has made.’
