Watch the Rugby World Cup at ours – Saturday 2 November from 8.00am

To celebrate England getting to the final, we’re going to showing the big match on our big screen. Come join us from 8.00am when we’ll have bacon and egg baps, coffee, tea and orange juice for sale for all you hungry fans.  There will be some comfy sofas as well as our normal seating, but feel free to bring your own bean bags or similar.

New youth groups

ASCY starts Thursday 7 November, 6.30 – 8.00 pm, usually in the youth space, during term time only for school years 6 – 9.  It’s going to be a time to explore Christian faith more deeply and grow in your identity and relationship with God, with faith-based activities and monthly socials.  The first meeting will be a social at Jo’s house, with a bonfire, sparklers, hotdogs and marshmallows. SCOOCH starts Tuesday 12 November, 3.00 – 4.45 pm in the youth space, duringterm time only, for school years 7 – 11. It’s going to be a youth drop in with hot chocolate, Xbox, table tennis and football, and space to chill out with friends and talk. Contact Lauren and Jo.

Love running? Join the Ascension Runners on Monday evenings for a community social #RunAndTalk with a mental health focus. If you’re aged 16+ and able to comfortably run 5km+ contact, we’d love to see you.

Southampton City Mission (SCM) are looking for more Trustees

SCM are a Christian charity seeking to serve the whole Church as it serves our city. Their main function is running the Basics Banks across the city and supporting the teaching of Christianity in schools. Do you have a passion for serving these areas? Blaze Night – Saturday 16 November at 6.00pm

Baked Potato Sunday  – Sunday 1 December after the 10.45 service

Christmas wreath making – Monday 2 December at 7.30pm, We’ll be creating a festive atmosphere with background music and mulled wine whilst you create your masterpiece. Tuition, wreath base, wire, accessories, and refreshments included. £7.50. If possible, please bring greenery from your garden and any decorations you’d like to use, like baubles or ribbons.
