The 16 Days of Activism campaign from the Mothers Union runs from 25 November (the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women) until 10 December (International Human Rights Day). It aims to break the silence, lift the shame and shift the blame of gender-based violence.

This 16 Days of Activism, you are invited to light a candle and call for an end to gender-based violence and the stigma that surrounds it at the Old Chemist, Manor Farm Road, Saturday 9 December, any time between 2.00pm and 4.00pm.

You can take part on social media using the hashtags #letstalkaboutit #MU16days  #endstigma #endgbv

We’re also looking for volunteers to help with the event. If you can help, please contact Helen.
